Clinical Supervision & Training

Building the Next Generation of Culturally Affirming Perinatal Mental Health Professionals

At the Black Girls Mental Health Collective (BGMHC), clinical supervision is more than a licensure requirement—it's an intentional, healing-centered process to help emerging clinicians grow in confidence, skill, and purpose.

Our supervision program is led by Breea Wainwright, LMFT, an expert in infant mental health and perinatal psychotherapy. Breea’s approach blends clinical excellence with real-world, culturally grounded wisdom—because our clients deserve care that is both evidence-based and deeply human.

Supervision rooted in care, culture, and clinical excellence.

What Clinical Supervision at BGMHC Looks Like

We create a safe, collaborative space where associate therapists can build skill, explore identity, and become powerful agents of healing for Black women and birthing people.
